XXX Chest Tie Tutorial

Skorpion Rope XXX Chest Tie tutorial

This tie is suitable for beginners, using only a larks head to start, reverse tensions at the rear and a half hitch to finish. It is a good exercise in maintaining tension whilst applying restraint. The arms in front position is often more comfortable than having the hands tied behind the back and can usually be sustained for longer periods of time. I have used triple ropes for this tie for the colour effect, but this can easily be tied using typical doubled rope. Feel free to use half hitches at the rear to lock your wraps in place as you go if you are struggling with the tension. This tie in its present form is NOT suitable for suspension.

Skorpion Rope XXX Chest Tie Tutorial Part 1
  • If you're using doubled rope then place the bight at the centre of the back and pass the running end over the upper right arm. If you're using tripled rope then create a loop as shown above.

  • Pass the rope across the wrists in a diagonal direction towards the middle of the left arm and round to the back.

  • Pass the running ends through the bight or loop to create a larks head and apply reverse tension so the rope then passes over the upper left arm.

  • Pass the rope across the wrists in a diagonal direction towards the middle of the right arm, forming an 'X' at the wrists as you tie.

  • Pass the running ends to the back and through the gap you created earlier as shown and apply reverse tension so the rope then passes between the two lines on the right arm

  • Pass the ropes in a diagonal direction towards the crook of the left elbow, keeping the line parallel to the previous one.

  • Apply a reverse tension at the rear in the gap you made with the previous line and take the rope back towards the mid left arm where there should be an obvious gap between lines.

  • Continue across the body in a diagonal direction towards the crook of the right elbow, keeping the line parallel to the previous line and forming the second 'X' below the previous one.

  • Apply a reverse tension at the rear in the gap you made with the previous line and take underneath the right breast.

  • Take the rope under the X wraps you have created, under the left wrist and towards the left shoulder.

  • Pass the rope across the back of the hands towards the right little finger in a diagonal direction.

  • Pass the rope horizontally across the palms (I did not tie the thumbs - the rope model can use them to 'hold' on to the rope).

  • Bring the rope to the front at the left little finger and pass diagonally down towards the right wrist, forming the third X.

  • Pass the rope behind the right wrist and down towards the left breast, crossing at the centre of the body.

  • Pass the rope under the left breast and apply a reverse tension at the rear in the gap you made with the previous line. Secure it using a half hitch and tuck your rope ends away.
